This truck is clean and very presentable for the miles/year. The frame and underside is very clean with minor surface rust. Some minor peeling present and light surface rust but no major rot or areas of concern. The exterior of the truck is in overall good condition with minor damages and flaws to be expected. It was a very nice truck when it came in that did not need much mechanical/cosmetic work. The truck is currently set up as a cab and chassis leaving you the open canvas to build a bed that suits your needs or run it as is. The body was on a 2020 RAM 5500 that had an interior fire but the body, crane and air compressor remained unaffected. The Stellar crane, Knapheide body and BOSS air compressor are all manufactured around 2020. The truck was purchased as a cab & chassis. Everything works perfectly and the swap was done correctly with no corners cut. The truck is right in every way. The Cummins 6.7L turbo diesel starts right up without issue and has great power. It has very low hours on it. The automatic transmission shifts through all gears correctly and as it should. The Stellar 7621 7500lb crane operation is smooth and fast! The proportional Stellar CDT wireless remote controls the crane effortlessly. The BOSS hydraulic PTO air compressor is functioning as it should and builds air correctly. There are no tool drawers installed in any of the boxes which leaves your tool storage options open. The body is a Knapheide and shows beautifully with some minor paint touch ups that we did. The exterior of the truck is in nice condition with minor wear and light damages to be expected. We painted the rear work station of the utility box due to wear, the entire body shows really nice! The interior is in nice clean condition with light wear to be expected. The frame and underside is showing minimal light surface rust but overall is nice and dry. The tires are all in excellent condition with deep tread remaining. The brakes stop the truck as they should. The truck goes down the road nicely for the size and weight of it. This is a smaller chassis truck that can do the job of a large service truck. No warning lights are illuminated on the dash. Overall, you could hop in this truck and get right to work! The proportional wired remote controls the crane effortlessly. The 3820 IMT crane is a work horse and is very reliable. This truck is the real deal and has a setup every mechanic would want! The IMT CAS40P hydraulic air compressor functions correctly and has a switch on the crane remote. The compressor is only showing 4 hours on the mechanical hour gauge (not verified). There is one large American Eagle tool drawer and one set of bolt bins installed. The body & crane are dated 2009 so they are older than the truck chassis. The compressor is dated 12/31/2014. This is how we bought the truck. Everything works and functions 100%. There is a power inverter installed under the rear interior seat but does not appear to be functioning (did not look into it). The exterior of the truck is in nice condition with minor wear and light damages to be expected. We did a little paint touch up on the utility body (rock chips, paint peeling, light surface rust), and painted the rear tailgate area due to wear/use but overall it was in great condition in its original state. There is minor rust showing on the interior of the utility box in some areas. There is minor rust bubbling throughout the body however we do not see any areas of major rot or severe rust.
