The Maxxforce DT Series 466 starts right up and sounds good. The transmission shifts through all gears correctly. It was previously owned by a local county and retired this year due to age. We personally drove the bus 30 miles and it runs great and drives fair. At one point on the trip back the bus experienced no throttle response. The driver pulled over and restarted the bus and it drove fine thereafter. We have since scanned the bus (no codes present) and drove it ~2 hours to replicate the problem however it did not repeat. It is currently running and driving as it should, but this issue may arise again. The tires show average wear, have deep tread but dry rot is showing on the sidewall of the drive tires. The body is straight and no major damage is present. The interior is in tact with all seats and belts. All safety features / cameras are in tact as if it were taken right out of service. The rooftop emergency exit has a failed seal and will leak with a hard rain. This bus would be a great candidate for the motor and transmission and other miscellaneous parts. With a little TLC this bus would be a good candidate for a party/event bus or mini camper. Like mentioned we just drove the bus 30 miles and it operated as it should.
