Cabover Truck – COE: Short for Cab Over Engine, the driver sits about the engine compartment. No sleeping compartment. Since the driver sits above the engine in this design, there is no need for a hood, creating a flat-faced truck with no nose.
In its hay day, this truck was wildly popular among trucking fleets because it allowed them to use longer trailers without violating the length laws of the time.
