We had the truck outfitted with a VAC-CON industries Hydro Excavator package, model number VX312LHE that features a Giant LP301 Water Pump, a VAC-Con model 7703 blower, with Eaton and Rexroth Hydrostatic pumps and hydrostatic motors and a 410,000 BTU Diesel Fired Boiler, electric vibrator, and Centrifugal compressor.</p><p>The machine uses high pressure water and vacuum to exavate varying type of soil -- commonly used for daylighting, slot-trenching, potholing and fiber-optic lines, cables or utility pipe location as well as removing sand, grit, grease, sludge, stones and other material from catch basins, pumping stations and other facilities.</p><p>The machine has a high pressure water system and a self-contained water supply.
