The flashing light will activate when you turn on your lights. The wrecker's electrical system is protected by a 10 amp breaker. There is an electrical diode installed to prevent back feed. The Model 8 is a truly self-contained wrecker assembly. A port on the rear of the wrecker will accept a 7 way trailer light plug to power your light bar.</p>
